Case Loaders

Founded in 1842, Case Construction Equipment has been a leader in the heavy equipment market for over 150 years. In fact, Case has been recognized as the world's leading supplier of light to medium sized construction equipment. One area in which Case specializes is in loaders. Currently being manufactured in twenty-five different models, Case loaders are among the best in the world.

A loader is a general term used to refer to any kind of heavy equipment used to move debris from one place to another. The term "loader" refers specifically to the scoop, bucket, or shovel extending from the front of the machine which is used for loading excavated debris into a truck.

Though models vary, Case carries three kinds of loaders:

  1. Backhoe loader: features a loader on one end and an excavator on the other
  2. Wheel loader: features a large loader in the front and wheels
  3. Skid-steer loader: features a loader that is lifted on hydraulic arms (called the boom) from behind the cab, allowing the driver to lift debris well above eye level as well as wheels that can turn in opposing directions.

Often, Case's loaders feature attachments which can replace the loader itself. Possible attachments include plows, brooms, blades, forks, grapples, rakes, and more.

Because Case specializes in smaller loaders, their models are often used for residential work. Still, Case's models range from compact to some of the heaviest loaders on the market. As a result, a loader can be owned by a large construction company or residential worker alike. One of the most common reasons to purchase a Case loader is to become an independent contractor and provide usage for a fee. These ventures can be extremely profitable offering incredible hourly rates if you find contractors that don't already own the same loader.

Case Loader Rental. Though Case's loaders are more affordable than other manufacturers, they are often more practical to rent than own. You can rent Case loading machines daily, weekly. The longer you keep your Case loader, the cheaper it is per day. Depending on the model, a Case loader rents daily for $300-$700, weekly for $1000-$2000, and monthly for $3000-$6000. For rates in your area see Construction Equipment for Rent.

Case Loader Sales. If you are looking to purchase a Case loader, its cost will depend on the loader's age and features. A used Case loader can cost anywhere from $6000 to $200,000. For a complete listing see Construction Equipment. A New Case loader can cost more than $200,000. For the cost to finance or lease a new loader, contact CNH Capital.
