Track Loaders

Often called a crawler loader, a track loader is one of the most common kinds of loader used in construction. It features a scoop, bucket, or shovel extending from the front of the machine used for carrying loose debris from an excavation site into a dump truck. Unlike other loaders, it also has heavy rubber tracks or tread. The advantage to having a track loading machine is its maneuverability. The tread on each side of a track loader can move independently. That means you can move one side forward and the other backward and turn in an extremely tight circle, making track loaders ideal in tight construction situations. They typically offer many optional attachments including plows, brooms, blades, forks, grapples, rakes, and more.

Because a track loader is usually more compact than other loaders, it can be practical for a large company or residential worker alike. One of the most common reasons to purchase a track loader is to become an independent contractor and provide usage for a fee. If that is your purpose, you should look into the larger models. They are much more efficient and are more likely to be needed in various environments.

Track Loader Rental. Though a track loader is relatively inexpensive, it is often more practical to rent than own. You can rent them daily, weekly, or monthly depending on your need. The longer you keep a loader, the cheaper it is per day. Depending on the model, a loader rents daily for $200-$800, weekly for $800-$2600, and monthly for $2000-$8000.
